Great Whale
Seven out of the 13 great whale species are still endangered or vulnerable after decades of protection.

Ways to save the whales:
Cutting up the plastic rings of six-pacs before you recycle or put them in the trash
Picking up trash in your neighborhood or beach because it prevents pollution in the watersheds
Don't let balloons loose because they could drift away and animals could mistake them for food and may get killed for ingesting the balloons
Carpool and ride bikes when possible
Keep your car clean to prevent leaks, recycle used used motor oil
Take hazardous waste to waste sites
Don't throw away fishing lines and hooks in water because it can tangle up the animals
Don't throw things in streets because it can travel down storm drains and up to rivers, creeks and oceans
Recycle, reuse, reduce
Hazardous items thrown in the garbage end up in landfills where they contaminate the soil
Buy environmentally friendly products.
