I love to play basketball because it is so fun. It's fun because you have to put the ball in the hoop. Basketball is like half of my life, I've been playing basketball since the 3rd grade. You do so many things like running, dribbling, passing, and shooting.

I started to play basketball after I saw how much fun my godbrother Ike had. That really got me wanting to play Just seeing him work hard like that made me think "well, I can do that and work as hard." After all of that I started to play. I learned by watching other people play. I don't like to watch basketball on TV, I just like to play it.

I played for recreation every year that I have played. The teams I played for were Sparks, Blizzards, Fire, Storm, and Buford Middle School. My team, Sparks, and I won the championship in 2007. My whole team was crying because we won. We had 1 point to their 9 points in the last quarter with 45 seconds left. We beat them 9 to 11. I'm going to play for recreation this year, and for my school.
